Welcome to Lit Guides!
My name is Kristen Galles and I have spent the last 15 years teaching literature to adolescents at a public high school in the Twin Cities. I currently teach online classes for students hoping to obtain their associate’s degree. Please feel free to email me at kgalles@msn.com!
I write reading guides for classic literature that include, (in addition to discussion questions), bookmarks, warm-up activities, writing prompts, author information and historical context, literary terms, great links, and anything else I can think of to enrich your student’s experience of any work.
Sounds like more than you need? I also write discussion questions for books. I have been told that my questions are more engaging that the stock questions that sometimes come with books — 15 years of engaging adolescents in discussion quickly illustrates which questions work and which are duds!
